STRATEGIC OPERATIONS FOR THE IN-BETWEEN STAGE
Strategy that gets built,
not filed away.

Hands-on operations, client strategy and growth support for SMEs, non-profits, and early-stage startups.

Most businesses are great at what they do. Fewer are great at running the business behind it.

That gap is where momentum slows, clients slip away, and founders stop sleeping. Not because the work isn't good. Because the processes holding everything together haven't kept up.

That's what I fix.

WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH

Four areas, sometimes one at a time, often all at once.

01
A business that runs without you holding it together
Your processes and tools haven't kept up with your growth. Walk away with a business that runs without you holding it together.

02
A team that doesn't need you for everything
If the business only runs because you're in it, that's a problem. Get the work out of your head and into something your team can follow, without losing the quality that made it worth following in the first place.

03
More value from the clients you already have
Your next bit of growth is probably already in your client base. Good clients go quiet, work that should have continued doesn't. The pattern is there but you can't see it from where you're sitting.
04
A clear path to take your business further
You know what you want to build and where you want to expand. Get a clear path to sequence it, cost it, structure it, and actually ship it.

Your business has a soul. The processes shouldn't kill it.

We build operational structure that holds the thing you've made, not the thing a consultant thinks you should be.

WHAT WE BUILD

Every engagement is different. These are the areas our work usually falls into.

Where it helps, we bring AI into the mix. Where it doesn't, we won't.

Operations
Streamline, automate, scale
  • • Audit and rebuild processes that have outgrown your business
  • • Automate the repetitive work, with or without AI
  • • Connect disconnected tools so nothing falls through the gaps
  • • Set up reporting that gives you real visibility
Client strategy and business development
Retain, grow, convert
  • • Find the growth already sitting in your client base
  • • Build simple rhythms that keep clients close and spending
  • • Turn happy clients into your best source of new business
  • • Spot new revenue through partnerships and adjacent markets
Continuity
Document, protect, hand over
  • • Get how your business runs out of your head and onto paper
  • • Build playbooks the team can follow without you
  • • Reduce dependency on key people across critical functions
  • • Create onboarding guides so new staff hit the ground running
Founder strategy
Plan, prioritise, ship
  • • Turn your vision into a sequenced, costed plan
  • • Prioritise so the right work gets done first
  • • Build a 90-day plan with clear owners and milestones
  • • Keep the strategy moving while you run the business
THE WAY IT GOES

This isn’t a deck-and-disappear engagement.

We figure it out together, build it together, and I stay close enough to course-correct when reality has other ideas.

01
A conversation first
A 45-minute call, no pitch deck. By the end we'll both know whether this is a fit.
02
We agree and get to work
A clear scope, plain language, no retainer traps. Then I come in, work through it alongside you, and fix what isn't holding up.
03
You leave with something that runs
This is where most engagements end. Mine doesn't. I stay until it works, then hand it back to you to own.
IS THIS YOU?

There's a stage where growth starts to outrun the people and processes behind it.

That's exactly where I work. If any of these sound familiar, let's talk.

Your processes haven't kept up with your growth.
More clients, more staff, more moving parts. The workarounds that used to hold are starting to break.
You're losing clients quietly and don't have time to figure out why.
Work dries up and you're not sure why. The pattern is there but you can't see it from where you're sitting.
The strategy is clear in your head. Getting it into the business isn't.
You know what needs to happen. Sequencing it, resourcing it, and shipping it while running everything else is the part that keeps slipping.
You need senior-level help but not a full-time hire — yet.
The right operator would change everything but a permanent salary is a year too early. You need someone senior enough to build it properly, then step back.

Not quite ready to book a call? Answer a few questions first.

Hello, I’m Jenna. I’ve spent twenty years helping businesses run better.

Most recently I was co-founder and COO of a SaaS-enabled mobility company I helped scale to US$1.6M ARR in 18 months. Before that, I spent a decade at Cvent and Carlson Wagonlit Travel, looking after enterprise clients across Asia-Pacific like Morgan Stanley, Google, Johnson & Johnson, IBM, through onboarding, growth, and the occasional rescue mission. I'm based in Melbourne and work with businesses across Australia and Singapore.

I started Wayfinder Workshop because I noticed the same thing again and again: smaller businesses don’t need more strategy decks. They need someone to roll up their sleeves and build the thing with them.

If that sounds like the help you’ve been looking for, I’d love to hear what you’re working on.
